Pinterest!
I love my Pin It Button! I have recently fallen back in love with Pinterest. Not only the fact that when I see great stuff on the internet I can save it to my boards, but also that I can use see other great ideas.
I know this is a "technology blog" but hey, this is a form of social media and networking! So it works, right?
Anyway, I have found some great ideas for my classroom organization and bulletin board ideas. I love to have crafty things in my classroom, even with high schoolers! I feel like it gives them a little more insight into me and what I like.
One of the more recent ideas I have found that I LOVE is a sticky note planner. This allows you to write out your plans and then move them around as needed. Check it out!

My Instructional website
Since my blog has always been about technology I have been creating during my Lesley degree, I should keep with the tradition and post of my newer works that I created earlier this spring. It is an instructional website that includes 8 lessons, which include all required resources for teaching the unit. Although not all of my powerpoints are attached, some are as well as graphic organizers, video clips, and rubrics. I am very proud of the work I did, even though I wasn't all so happy about the work as I was doing it! Below is my site link and I hope it will help others who either have to do the same activity or teach middle/high school history. Enjoy!

Task 210 Liz's Editorial Images
The first image "Jaleel 1" is an edited version of a photo I took of an Andrews High School track member. It is simply a head shot showing a particular desire in his eyes. If you didn't know he was a track member you might think he was focused on anything else, maybe a girl or a fight. He is the main focal point of this edited image.
The second image "Jaleel 2" is the original version of the photo I took. It shows this young man in perspective of what he is doing, his event is the 110 hurdles. He is nearing the finish line and he has the determination in his eye to win. He is the middle ground of the photo while the hurdles are the foreground and the bleachers are the background.
